Crested Butte, Colorado

Roland and I went down the hill on a free shuttle that goes to town every 15 minutes.   I hadn't seen the town yet so on our first day off together he took me down to see it.  It is really cute.  It looks like a Christmas card.  It kind of reminds me a little bit of North Lake Tahoe (without the lake) and Nevada City except that there is a huge mountain up above the town.  It has really cute shops and boutiques but it is all very touristy and expensive.

Roland and me standing on the main street with Mt. Crested Butte in the background.  We live up the mountain a ways. Probably a ten minute bus ride with no stops.  It is all beautiful scenery.

The buildings are all so cute.  I am standing in front of the town all which has now become an art gallery.  The old hardware store is now a museum and most of the buildings have been restored to keep the old quaint town feel.

We both really like the small town charm of Crested Butte.  Very homey.
